.One of those days.

It's a rainy morning. And there's shit math test tomorrow. I should be feeling grumpy and down.

BUT!!!!

I'm feeling oh-so-romantic! I can't believe myself, I just finished watching Moulin Rouge for the 10000th time again! Mad mad.

I think that it's good to disconnect yourself from everything else once in a while. Cause you will know where you really stand ultimately.

"The girl who survived"

I was watching Oprah Winfrey today. It was about this lady whose boyfriend, driven by a jealous rampage, shot her in the face and murdered her mother at the same time. What really shocked and moved me wasn't how badly her face was disfigured, but her willingness to come up and share her story so that people who see signs of abusal from their boyfriends/husband yet are afraid of leaving the relationship can learn from her lesson. It is surprising to note that 1 out of 4 people in America suffer abuse from their partners-be it emotionally or physically.
"I want people to look at me as not the girl who lost half her face, but the girl who survived."

When I watch such episodes of true courage, I cannot help but feel that my problems are so small... that sometimes, I have been blowing them up unnecessarily.

We are all blessed with good lives.
I am blessed.

Embrace.
